All students need a special education (mental retardation, visual impairments, learning disabilities, health and physical impairments, communication disorders, speech impairments etc.). At this school we teach specific occupations so students are prepared for life in the real world, some examples are: baker, confectioner, brick layer, seller, painter, gardener (for students with mild disability), cook’ s helper, gardener’s helper (for students with severe disability). Along with our job training program we provide the students with various types of therapy (physical, music, animal therapy) to help them get to know themselves better. General tasks or duties of our school are as follows: give students with special needs professional education, to prepare them to have a professional job in their life, help them to get practical training whilst they are still at school, prepare them to pass vocational exam at the end of education, help our students get to know themselves better and develop their capabilities, inform families of our students how to support their children, support students after they finish our school and they look for a job, get in touch with other organizations which help disabled people and unemployed people in getting a job, integrate students with the community.
Our students come from families with behavioral and financial problems. Students in families do not have the opportunity to meet national traditions of other countries and cultures The task of schools is to show students many opportunities and information about other people's lives that will give them the chance to choose priorities and ways of living independently. Participation in the projects is a chance for students to get to know people from other countries, their customs and traditions. It teaches respect and tolerance for differences.
As a partner in this initiative we will take active part in all activities. We will participate in partners' meeting and present our country and our school there, using presentations, discussions and fruitful dialogue with partners. We will be involved from planning till implementation and evaluation of this project. We will disseminate the progress of the project among all the students in school, their parents and local authorities.
